ग्वालियर हवाईअड्डा
ग्वालियर एयरपोर्ट का नाम सिंधिया राजघराने के नाम पर राजमाता विजयाराजे सिंधिया टर्मिनल, ग्वालियर रखा गया है। यह एक सिविल एयर टर्मिनल है, अत: यहाँ कन्वेयर बेल्ट, एक्स-रे मशीन, निरीक्षण प्रणाली जैसी विभिन्न सेवाएं उपलब्ध हैं। प्रस्थान करने वाले यात्री अपनी कारों या टैक्सियों से उतरने पर कुछ ही दूरी पर चलते हैं और चेक-इन-काउंटर पर जाते हैं। प्रस्थान-होल्डिंग लाउंज खूबसूरती से सुसज्जित है और विशेष रूप से इसका परिवेश सौंदर्य से परिपूर्ण है।
सिविल एन्क्लेव आरएसवीटी लगभग 30 एकड़ भूमि में फैला हुआ है। जमीन का स्वामित्व भारतीय विमानपत्तन प्राधिकरण के नाम पर है। सुचारू संचालन के सभी पहलुओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए यह भूमि सुनियोजित है। भली प्रकार से अनुरक्षित एप्रन दो-एयर बस और एक छोटे विमान के लिए उपलब्ध है। टर्मिनल भवन अच्छी तरह से रोशन और हवादार है।
साठ के दशक के अंत में भारतीय वायु सेना द्वारा इसके अधिग्रहण से पहले, ग्वालियर हवाईअड्डा नागर विमानन विभाग के तहत एक नागरिक हवाईअड्डा था। यह महत्वपूर्ण डायवर्जनरी (diversionary) हवाईअड्डों में से एक रहा है। इसे एयरफोर्स को सौंपे जाने के बाद, सिविल एयर टर्मिनल को एक पुनर्निर्मित आवास में स्थापित किया गया था।
ग्वालियर अच्छी पर्यटन क्षमता, गौरवशाली संस्कृति और देश के इतिहास में एक प्रमुख स्थान के साथ मध्यप्रदेश के महत्वपूर्ण शहरों में से एक है। ग्वालियर की यात्रा करने वाली जनता की आकांक्षाओं को पूरा करने के लिए यहां उन्नत सिविल एयर टर्मिनल सुविधाएं हैं।
