कार्यात्मक उत्तरदायित्वों में सम्मिलित है / The functional responsibility includes:

देश के विभिन्न हवाई अड्डों पर कार्यरत 18500 कर्मचारियों के कार्यबल का प्रबंधन करना। प्रमुख कार्यों से संबद्ध सभी हवाई अड्डों पर मानव संसाधन नीतियों को  एक समान लागू करने हेतु मानव संसाधन नीतियों का संगठन भी   शामिल है। / Managing a workforce of 18500 employees working at various airports in the country. The major functions associated include organization of human resource polices for uniform application at all the airports.

• अन्य कार्यों में देश के सभी एएआई हवाई अड्डों पर औद्योगिक संबंधों के अलावा सभी कर्मचारियों, भर्ती और प्रेरण, पदोन्नति, स्थानान्तरण के मामलों की स्थापना के मामले शामिल हैं। / The other functions include dealing establishment matters of all employees, recruitments and induction, promotions, transfers, beside Industrial relations at all the AAI Airports in the country.
• सामान्य सेवा शर्तों का रखरखाव, अनुशासनिक मामले, प्रदर्शन मूल्यांकन और सामाजिक सुरक्षा योजनाओं का प्रभावी कार्यान्वयन जिसमें सरकार के दायरे में सेवानिवृत्ति लाभ दिशानिर्देश और पेंशन योजनाएं शामिल हैं। / Maintenance of General Service Conditions, Disciplinary matters, Performance Appraisals and effective implementation of Social Security Schemes which includes Superannuation benefits under the ambit of Govt. guidelines and Pension Schemes.
• एचआर लगभग 5000  हवाई यातायात प्रबंधन (एटीएम) और संचार, नेविगेशन और निगरानी (सीएनएस) में काम कर रहे अधिकारियों के समुदाय  का प्रबंधन भी करता है। / HR also manages a fleet of Executives working in Air Traffic Management(ATM) and Communication, Navigation & Surveillance(CNS) ofabout5000 Nos.
• भारतीय विमानपत्तन प्राधिकरण भारत सरकार की राजभाषा नीति के तहत अधिनियम और नियमों का अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करता है। वर्ष के दौरान, कर्मचारियों को हिंदी के प्रयोग के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने और हिंदी की प्रगति की समीक्षा करने के लिए सीएचक्यू, क्षेत्रीय मुख्यालयों और फील्ड स्टेशनों पर हिंदी कार्यशालाएं आयोजित की गईं। सीएचक्यू और सभी स्टेशनों पर राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति की बैठकें आयोजित की गईं। / Airports Authority of India ensures compliance of Act and Rules under Official Language Policy of Government of India. During the year, Hindi workshops were conducted at CHQ, Regional Headquarters and Field stations to encourage the employees for the use of Hindi & to review the progress of Hindi. Official Language Implementation Committee Meetings were conducted at CHQ & all stations.
