Misc. Minor Capital Works FY 2022 23. S.H. Renovation of first floor pre security check area toilet and facelifting work in Terminal Building at Bagdogra Airport

Bagdogra Airport has recorded heavy traffic growth during the recent years. As the existing terminal building was constructed during the year 2000, the same needs immediate internal face-lifting to provide an improved ambience to the pax. including renovation of the existing toilets. The toilets in ground floor Departure & Arrival has already been renovated. The toilet at first floor in pre-security check area also needs to be renovated. The existing false ceiling in pre-security check area is very old and damaged at several locations, hence needs to be replaced. Also, there is no false ceiling in restaurant. The existing ACP cladding in Domestic SHA and Pre-security Check area is old and faded. During the visit of GM (Engg.), ER it was instructed to replace the existing ACP cladding with new one in similar fashion as done in ground floor Departure area. The existing chequered tile of departure ramp has been eroded hence, needs to be replaced with flamed granite in order to give better appearance. In order to provide facilities as per Accessible India Campaign, tactile flooring is considered in Departure and Arrival area.

Accordingly, an estimate amounting to Rs. 94,90,340.00 including GST has been framed to meet the requirement.
