Airports Authority of India maintains a Civil Enclave at Visakhapatnam catering to civil passenger movements. Air India, Air Asia, Indigo Airlines, Spice jet and Scoot Air operate flights to various Domestic and International Destinations. The new runway of 10000 ft is in place with Instrument Landing System Category I, Night landing facility is also available. The Airport operates 24 x 7.
