This is to communicate about job description / scope of work to be done by CONTRACTOR on the terms and conditions mentioned below:
CONTRACTOR will provide qualified Paramedic staff for conducting breath analyzer examination at LBSI Airport Varanasi at its two locations simultaneously. First location at in New Terminal Building and another Near the Entry Gate of Old Terminal Building. Qualified Paramedic staffs are to be provided at both locations simultaneously.
The said service of CONTRACTOR will be required as per timings mentioned under:
07:00 - 10:30 IST
13:00 - 15:00 IST
19:00 - 21:00 IST
Said service will be required all 365 days in a year without any holiday. There will be no off day or holiday for said services provided by CONTRACTOR. Hence CONTRACTOR shall ensure availability of qualified Paramedic staff as per requirements and timings during above period.
CONTRACTOR will have to provide 02 (two) Qualified Paramedic Staff competent to conduct Breath Analyzer Examination Test.
Required Qualification for Paramedic Staff will be B.SC (Nursing Graduate). Such paramedic staff will have to be in professional attire as mentioned by Medical Counsel of India throughout their service timings provided by them at the premises of AAI. Staff provided by CONTRACTOR will ensure to maintain their attendance register to be signed by concerned authority every month. They will wear identity card during working hours on the premises of AAI. CONTRACTOR will provide 15 days advance information of staff including copy of details in respect of staff whom they plan to depute.
The equipment for conducting Breath Analyzer Examination Test will be provided by AAI at both the locations as given under para no 1 and to conduct such test, qualified Paramedic staff shall be provided by the CONTRACTOR as per provisions given under para no 2 & 3. It will be the duty of staff of CONTRACTOR to maintain such equipments provided by AAI in good condition and to sanitize such equipments after use.
The date for commencement by Breath Analyzer Examination Test will be intimated separately in due course of time.
The period of agreement shall be for period of two year from the date of commencement of work as per para no 6 above. Said agreement can be extended for further period of six month on the recommendation of competent authority of AAI subject to satisfactory performance of CONTRACTOR.
AAI reserve the right to terminate the agreement/work given to CONTRACTOR on 15 days advance notice and any decision taken by competent authority in this regard will be final.
CONTRACTOR will be paid on monthly basis (including GST) on submission of bill against providing their services for both location together. Such bill should be as per rules contained under Goods and Services Tax, 2017 as amended from time to time. Applicable TDS will be deducted as per rules contained under Income tax Act, 1961 and Goods and Services Tax, 2017.
10. Para Medical Staff shall maintain all the records of test done and submit to this office, whenever requested to do so or at the end of every month.
CONTRACTOR shall not be allowed to carry out any commercial activity such as medical examination of staff of Airlines and other agencies operating at this airport on payment basis etc until unless permitted by AAI. However in case of emergency such paramedical staff will have to provide their services on payment basis and any negligence in the same may lead to termination of this agreement and to blacklist CONTRACTOR from entering into any agreement with AAI for specific time as decided by competent authority.
The Para Medical staff engaged by CONTRACTOR is required to abide by the security requirements at the airport and shall obtain necessary security passes.
CONTRACTOR shall be penalized @5% of your monthly payment on each lapse of service or non availability of Para Medical Staff in each shift on time during specified timing vide point No.2 (two).
That the authority reserves to itself the right to change the location of the premises at any time and may at its discretion to call upon the CONTRACTOR to vacate the site and may shift to an alternate premise for the purpose of this work. In such case, the CONTRACTOR shall be bound to vacate the premises immediately and accept the said alternate premises.
CONTRACTOR shall not erect or display any type of advertisements or signboards except after obtaining prior approval in writing from AAI.
Compliance of prevailing security norms etc. from time to time shall be ensured by the CONTRACTOR. For an information/clarification pertaining to prevailing security norms and compliance thereof etc. CONTRACTOR is requested to contact Security Section, AAI Varanasi.
Rules and regulations applicable at the airport & in practice is to be followed by staff (Paramedics) of CONTRACTOR.
It shall be the duty and responsibility of the CONTRACTOR at all time to obtain, maintain and sustain the valid registration of practice from Chief Medical Officer, Varanasi and to handover copy of the same to the concerned authority AAI. CONTRACTOR will ensure high quality and standard of its service and to have all statutory and mandatory licenses, permits and/or approval of the concerned authority under or as per the existing laws of the land.
AAI will not undertake any liability for providing any other facilities or any kind of compensation to any of the staff provided by CONTRACTOR.
