कार्यात्मक जिम्मेदारी में शामिल  हैं / The functional responsibility includes:

• केन्द्रीय रेडियो भंडार डिपो  (केंरेभंडिपो) भारतीय विमानपत्तन प्राधिकरण के संचार, दिक्चालन  और निगरानी (सीएनएस) विंग की एक प्रमुख इकाई है। यह दिल्ली फ्लाइंग क्लब के पास सफदरजंग हवाई अड्डा, नई दिल्ली में  स्थित है। / The Central Radio Stores Depot (CRSD) is a major unit of the Communication, Navigation & Surveillance (CNS) wing of the Airports Authority of India. It is located at Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi near Delhi Flying Club.
• केंरेभंडिपो का मुख्य कार्य  सभी वैमानिक संचार स्टेशनों (एसीएस) तक  सभी संचार, नेविगेशन और निगरानी (सीएनएस) उपकरणों के स्पेयर पार्ट्स पहुँचाना  है | निगमित मुख्यालय के अनुमोदन के पश्चात स्टेशनों से प्राप्त आवश्यकतानुसार उन्हें स्पेयर पार्ट्स भेजे जाते है  ताकि  उपकरण भली भांति कार्य कर सकें व इनका उचित रख-रखाव किया जा सके। / The main function of the CRSD is delivery of spare parts of all Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) equipments to all the Aeronautical Communication Stations (ACS) for proper operation and upkeep of these equipments as per the requirement received from the stations on approval of CHQ.
• हवाई अड्डों और अन्य सहायक स्टेशनों पर उपयोग में आने वाले ऐसे उपकरणों की एक बहुत बड़ी संख्या को देखते हुए और इन उपकरणों के निर्बाध प्रचालन के महत्व को ध्यान में रखते  हुए, केंरेभंडिपो में एक बृहत् इन्वेंटरी मेंटेन की जा रही है |  दिनांक  01 अप्रैल 2013 से यह इन्वेंटरी एसएपी/ईआरपी सिस्टम में मेंटेन की जा रही है। / In view of a very large number of such equipments in use at the airports and other supporting stations and in view of the importance of uninterrupted operation of these equipments, a huge inventory is maintained at CRSD. This inventory is maintained in SAP/ERP system with effect from 1st April 2013.
• केंरेभंडिपो के  इन्वेंटरी  प्रबंधन में,  सभी निर्धारित कोडल प्रक्रियाओं का पालन  करने के बाद,  सीएनएस स्पेयर आइटम की खरीद भी शामिल है : स्टोर की प्राप्ति, स्टॉक में  लाने से पहले उनकी मात्रा और गुणवत्ता की जांच; मदों को एक विशिष्ट कोड/वीओएएबी नम्बर देख कर और इन मदों का उचित भण्डारण सरलतापूर्वक इन्हें पुन: प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रत्येक मद हेतु स्वतंत्र स्थान निर्दिष्ट करना ।सक्षम प्राधिकारी की अनुमति प्राप्त करने के पश्चात मांग करने वाले स्टेशन को मद जारी करना और बीमा व पैकिंग के बाद अनुमोदित वस्तुओं  को उचित माध्यम से भेजना। / The inventory management at CRSD includes purchase of the CNS Spare items after following all the prescribed codal procedures: receipt of the stores , their quantity and quality checking before bringing these on stock; proper storage of these items by assigning a uniquematerial code/ VOCAB No and independent location to each item for easy retrieval, issue of the item to the demanding station after getting approval of the competent authority and dispatch of the approved items by an appropriate means after proper insurance and packing.
• कभी-कभी  मुख्यालय द्वारा जारी किए गए खरीद आदेशों के आधार पर स्टोर (पूंजीगत उपकरणों सहित) प्राप्त होते हैं और ऐसे स्टोर के लिए भी उपरोक्त पैरा में उल्लिखित समस्त कार्रवाई की जाती है | आयातित उपकरणों और पुर्जों के लिए यह कार्यालय अन्य सम्बंधित गतिविधियाँ , जैसे ऐसी  कन्साइन्मेंट के लिए बीमा और कस्टम क्लियरेंस  भी करता है। / At times, stores are received (including Capital equipments) on the basis of purchase orders issued by the Headquarters and all the above actions are performed for such stores. For imported equipments and spares, this office also undertakes other related activities like insurance and custom clearances for such consignments.
• उन्नत प्रौद्योगिकी के कारण या अप्रचलित होने  के कारण जो आइटम अब उपयोग में नहीं हैं, सक्षम प्राधिकारी से अनुमोदन प्राप्त करने के पश्चात उनका सर्वेक्षण किया जाता है तथा  एमएसटीसी लिमिटेड के माध्यम से ई-नीलामी द्वारा निपटान किया जाता है। / The items which are no longer in use due to upgraded technology or due to obsolescence are surveyed and disposed of by e-auction through MSTC Ltd after getting approvals from the competent authority.

• इन्वेंट्री प्रबंधन काफी हद तक  एसएपी/ईआरपी सिस्टम द्वारा समर्थित  है और सीएनएस के लिए एमएम के प्राधिकृत उपयोगकर्ता स्टोर्स की इन्वेंटरी  देख सकते हैं। / The inventory management to a large extent is supported by SAP/ERP System and authorized users of MM for CNS can view the inventory of stores.

• इन्वेंटरी  प्रबंधन के अलावा यह कार्यालय, आयातित उपकरणों और उनके मॉड्यूल की वारंटी अवधि के दौरान मरम्मत की सुविधा भी प्रदान करता है, जिसमें पुन: आपूर्तिकर्ता के साथ संपर्क, आवश्यक बीमा और कस्टम उद्देश्यों के लिए पुन: निर्यात के अनुमोदन के लिए संबंधित बैंक के साथ समन्वय भी शामिल है। ऐसी वस्तुओं को मनोनीत  कस्टम हाउस एजेंट (सीएचए) की सहायता से पुनः निर्यात किया जाता है। विदेशी आपूर्तिकर्ता द्वारा आइटम की मरम्मत के बाद  सभी निर्धारित प्रक्रियाओं का पालन करते हुए इनका  पुन:  आयात किया जाता है। / Apart from the inventory management, this office also facilitates the repair of the imported equipments and their modules during the warranty period which involves liaisoning with the supplier, necessary insurance and co-coordination with the concerned bank for approvals for re-export for custom purposes. Such items are re-exported with the help of a designated Custom House Agent (CHA). After the item is repaired by the foreign supplier, it is re-imported following all the laid down procedures.
• मासिक आधार पर स्टोर्स  के कुल इनफ्लो  और आउटफ्लो  के लिए एक प्रबंधन सूचना प्रणाली (एमआईएस) का रखरखाव किया जाता है। / A Management Information System (MIS) is maintained for the total inflow and outflow of the stores on monthly basis.
• केंरेभंडिपो खुली समुद्री अंतर्देशीय बीमा पॉलिसी के माध्यम से भारत के   किसी भी स्टेशन से भारत के किसी भी स्टेशन तक सीएनएस उपकरण/ पुर्जों का ट्रांजिट बीमा भी करता है बशर्ते कि कंसाइनर  स्टेशन द्वारा केंरेभंडिपो से अग्रिम अनुमोदन मांगा गया हो। / CRSD also undertakes transit insurance of CNS Equipment/spares from any station in India to any station in India through open marine inland insurance policy provided advance approval is sought by the consigoner station from CRSD
