SGRDJI Airport, Amritsar has state-of-art CAT IIIB Instrument landing systems equipped runway 34. These systems are the most advanced of their class and provide the guidance required for pilots to land an aircraft in poor visibility conditions. While the equipments are available at airport, it also requires aircraft to be equipped on board and pilot to be trained to utilize these systems, ie; be CAT IIIB compliant.
