Chatham Saw Mill is the saw mill situated in Chatham Island of Andaman and Nicobar Islands in India. It was set up in 1883 with the primary objective to meet the local requirements of saw and timber for the constructional works. It is owned by the state government.

The Cellular Jail, also known as Kālā Pānī (derived from Sanskrit words 'Kal' which means Time or Death and 'Pani' which means Water), was a colonial prison in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. The prison was used by the British especially to exile political prisoners to the remote archipelago. Many notable dissidents such as Batukeshwar Dutt and Veer Savarkar, among others, were imprisoned here during the struggle for India's independence. Today, the complex serves as a national memorial monument.

Viper Island is an island of the Andaman Islands. It belongs to the South Andaman administrative district, part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. the island is lying 4 km (2 mi) west from Sri Vijaya Puram.

Viper Island derives its name from the vessel H.M.S. Viper in which Lt. Archibald Blair came to Andaman and Nicobar Islands in 1789. The vessel, it is believed, met with an accident and its wreckage was found near the island. This small island was the site of the jail where the British used to imprison convicts and political prisoners. It has the ruins of a gallows atop a hillock. The jail was abandoned when the Cellular Jail was constructed in 1906. In any talk about Andaman and its role in the freedom struggle, it is the Cellular Jail that finds frequent mention. But, many years before the Cellular Jail was constructed, it was the jail at Viper Island that was used by the British to inflict the worst form of torture and hardship on those who strove to free the country from the British rule.

Mount Harriet National Park is a national park located in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands union territory of India. The park, established in 1969, covers about 4.62 km2 (18.00 mi2).Mount Harriet (383 metres (1,257 ft)[2]), which is part of the park, is the third-highest peak in the Andaman and Nicobar archipelago next to Saddle Peak (732 metres (2,402 ft)) in North Andaman and Mount Thullier (568 metres (1,864 ft)) in Great Nicobar.

Tytler, the second wife of Robert Christopher Tytler, a British army officer, an administrator, naturalist and photographer, who were appointed Superintendent of the Convict Settlement at Port Blair in the Andamans from April 1862 to February 1864. Harriet is remembered for her work in documenting the monuments of Delhi and for her notes at the time of the Revolt of 1857 in India.

Located approximately 20 km from Malacca Town, the beach of Tanjung Bidara has lush vegetation and a tranquil atmosphere. The beach is more for relaxation or recreational activities that exclude swimming, as the waters are a little murky. Many hawkers line the beach peddling food and there are amenities such as parking lots, playgrounds and showers.

Swimming:The Wandoor beach is boasts the largest shoreline in Sri Vijaya Puram, easily stretching up to 15 KMs, which is filled by clena white beach, complimented with fallen tropical trees after the 2004 tsunami, and has clear blue waters that invites you to take a dip.

The water depth is perfectly gradual, which means you can go somewhat far into the water without having to worry about the depth above-neck.

The waves are standard and the water currents are medium, increasing only on full moon, which makes sure your swim is perfect and comfortable.

 Collinpur Beach is 40 km from Sri Vijaya Puram and has good road links. In winter, the place can be enjoyed best from December to February, while summer is the ideal time from March to mid-May. Sri Vijaya Puram is the closest airport to reach Collinpur Beach, from which private cars and local buses can be rented.

As it is not one of the most popular attractions in the Sri Vijaya Puram area, it is not surprising that you will find the beach itself. Barren Island is a remote island in the Andaman Sea and is popularly known for housing the only confirmed active volcano in the area of South Asia. Barren Island is situated at a distance of 138 kilometres from the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sri Vijaya Puram. This volcano forms a part of the chain of volcanoes to be found along the belt of Sumatra till Myanmar. The first ever eruption to have been recorded was dated back in 1787.

Located in Sri Vijaya Puram, Samudrika Naval Marine Museum is a well-known tourist attraction in the Andaman Islands. This popular sightseeing place of Andaman is also known as Fisheries Museum. This place has a wide range of installations with informative coverage of the islands’ ecosystem, plants, animals, tribal communities and marine life. This museum also includes a small aquarium that houses various collections of fishes and corals and shells. On the outside you will also come across a skeleton of a blue whale that was washed ashore on the Nicobars. The Samudrika Naval Marine Museum is run by the Indian Navy and it stores five galleries dotted with history, geography, anthropology and marine life of the Island. Besides this, there is also a tiny zoo that shelters saltwater crocodiles in Haddo of Andaman Island.
