Prepaid taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport. Stop at the Prepaid Taxi booth in the Arrivals hall to pay for your ride. You will receive a ticket to give to your taxi driver before boarding the taxi. 

Passengers can also book Ola and Uber cabs through the booking kiosks located at the airports itself. 

To make travelling from Airport more convenient AAI, Chennai Airport has collaborated with private cab aggregators Ola and Uber. The cab operators have designated spots in the airport, where passengers can take the cab. Passengers who don’t have mobile apps of Ola and Uber on their phones make the bookings through their staff and take a ride. Not to forget that Chennai Airport is having a unique opportunity of having Metro Connectivity in addition to Suburban Rail Connection & MTC Buses.
