Recently, on 18th February 2011, 100 years of
Civil Aviation was celeberated at CATC. The institution complex was illuminated
with decorative lights. On 18th February, all the instructors , trainees and
support staff assembled in CATC auditorium where various speakers highlighted
the importance of civil aviation industry in present economic scenario.
Principal - CATC, Chief Instructor (CNS) and Chief Instructor (ATM) were main
speakers and dwelt upon the role CATC is playing in the growth of Civil
Aviation in India by imparting training to Air Traffic Controllers and CNS
Engineers. Bamrauli being the place where 100 years ago the first recorded
civil flight took off marking the begining of Civil Aviation in India, has a
distinct place in history of Indian civil aviation. All speakers highlighted
the importance of training which CATC is providing to national as well
international trainee in the filed of CNS/ATM to meet the requirement of this
fast growing industry.
