Functions of IT Division
 
  1. Development and hosting of AAI website and Website Management. Use of Web based Information Technology as a strategic business tool to improve the business process and efficiency of the Organization.
  2. Internet & E-Mail Services to all the Executives of AAI and sections on need basis, initially using Dial-up and subsequently using Leased Line and AAI Proxy Server.
  3. Planning & Implementation of AAI Intranet.
  4. LAN / WAN planning connecting all AAI establishment throughout the country on AAI Intranet.
  5. Standardization of IT systems, procurement, implementation & integration.
  6. Integration of all existing systems with AAI Intranet.
  7. Planning, development & commissioning of Centralized Software and other applications using Centralized Database Servers & Web Enabled Application Software.
  8. Assessment and planning of IT related Training and in-house application development.
  9. Planning and implementation of suitable information security and protection system with FIREWALL to ensure safety and security of Database and prevention of unauthorized access to AAI server.
  10. Hyper link connections for downloading of information on latest flight schedules, arrival/departures of flights on registration basis to third parties such as Hotels, Tour and Travel Operators, Cell Phone and Cable Operators etc.
