Functions of Department of Finance & Accounts
 
  1. Liasing with International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO)
  2. Liaison & Negotiating with International Air Transporters Association (IATA) Users Group for reviewing airport charges
  3. Billing & Realization of Revenue
  4. Liaising with various airlines - domestic and international airlines, private airlines etc.
  5. Dealing with Revenue Policies & Procedures
  6. Cash Management including Investment of Funds
  7. Compilation of yearly budget for Operational Revenue & Expenditure
  8. Compilation of yearly budget for Capital Expenditure including projection of funding through internal, budgetary and extra-budgetary resources.
  9. Finalisation of annual accounts of the Authority
  10. Servicing of loans from Domestic / Foreign sources
  11. Maintenance of Employees Provident Fund & Benevolent Fund records
  12. Interacting / providing the relevant financial information to varous Government agencies like Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Bureau of Civil Aviation Safety (BCAS), Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Comptroller & Auditor General (CAG), Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) including interaction with various ministries
