About Corporate Vigilance Department of AAI

 

Corporate Vigilance Directorate, AAI at CHQ,  handles all vigilance matters of Airports Authority of India. It is headed by Chief Vigilance Officer of the rank of Joint Secretary to GoI or equivalent. The CVO is assisted by General Manager and other Vigilance Officers at CHQ , five RHQs and major field Stations. The  Vigilance Directorate works in close coordination with Central Vigilance Commission and  Ministry of Civil Aviation. Vigilance  functions entail  conducting   preventive inspections and checks, investigating  the complaints from various sources, and enquiring in details the queries raised by CTE in their intensive examinations. The department also advises systemic improvements wherever possible to improve the management. It conducts trainings, workshops and seminars for creating awareness and sensitizing  personnel of AAI.
